God’s last trumpet blast

Shofar Trumpet made of a Ram's horn

Ancient biblical tradition holds that the resurrection of the dead will occur on the Feast of Trumpets being celebrated by Jews and Christians all over the world today. As a result, many gravestones are often engraved with an image of a Shofar Trumpet made of a ram’s horn. Both of these great future events are connected to the Rapture of believers in Messiah Jesus.

The apostle Paul stated, “Behold, I tell you a mystery: When Jesus the Messiah returns, we shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed – in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet of God. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed (raptured)” – 1 Cor. 15:51-52.
