TODAY’S SCRIPTURE VERSE – 1 Cor 15:12-14
“But if it is preached that Christ has been raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith.” – 1 Corinthians 15:12-14
In today’s Scripture, the aspostle Paul teaches in favor of the Christian resurrection. Some false teachers who had infiltrated the Church were discouraging the Corinthian believers and teaching that there is no resurrection of the dead. Paul argues that if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ did not rise from the tomb, and our faith in an afterlife is in vain.
But the truth is, Christ did rise from the dead and became the “firstfruits” of the resurrection for all believers. The blessed hope of all Christians is their resurrection from the dead. The Bible tells us that this will occur at the Second Coming of Christ at the Rapture, when all the dead in Christ will be raised first to receive their new glorified bodies, and then afterwards, those who are still alive and remain will be instantly transformed to meet the Lord in the clouds. It will be a glorious event that all Christian are looking forward to. For further study of the Rapture of the Church, order my teaching message entitled, “The Rapture in an Atomic Second.”

“Thank you for this topic. We see, hear, and feel the evil of this world. “For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” (Eph 6:12, ASV)”
