Proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ.

Walking in the Name of Our God

“For all people walk each in the name of his god, but we will walk in the name of the LORD (Yahovah) our God, forever and ever.” – Micah 4:5

The term in the above Scripture, “walking in the name of his god” is indicative of identification and relationship with the deity that a person worships. Whether most people admit it or not, they are dependent on the god they serve. Those who worship Satan (the fallen angel and god of this world’s evil system) by rejecting the only true and good God, Creator of the universe, will take on Satan’s evil characteristics in various ways (greed, lust, selfishness, envy, hatred, idolatry, etc.)

Whereas, those of us who worship Jesus Christ [the Messiah], will manifest the fruits of His Holy Spirit living in us – love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (Galatians 5:21-23). Against such there is no law that can condemn us.

Christians who manifest such characteristics and unashamedly proclaim that Jesus the Messiah is their Savior and Lord, boldly assert that He is their God and light the way for others to come to Him by the fruitful example of their lives. Let us continually testify that Christ is living in us by walking in the Name of our God.
