Proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ.

The Importance of Praise

Grace For TodayWhy is it necessary for believers to praise the LORD?

The most important reason, I believe, is because He is God, our Heavenly Father, Our Creator and Sustainer. Secondly, because He loved us enough to save us when we were lost and without hope, spiritually dead in our trespasses and sin. Everyday we should affirm our love for God by telling Him so – through praise and song, and blessing His holy name. Through praise, we show Him our gratitude for saving us from the destructions of our own making.

“O sing unto the LORD a new song; sing unto the LORD, all the earth. Sing unto the LORD, bless His name; show forth His salvation from day to day.” – Psalm 96:1-2

Through daily praise, we also remind ourselves continually of His mercy, grace and love; that we are His specially chosen people, and members of His sanctified family.

Won’t you remember today to give God thanks, tell Him how much you love Him, and how grateful you are to be His child?
