Keeping the Right Priorities

comment_sm COMMENT FROM VONDA: “When I was a little girl in church, we always sang a song in front of the congregation after Sunday school, “This Little Light Of Mine.” It goes on to say, “I’m going to let it shine…” I had missed seeing these things in church as years have gone by. Until recently, a minister has come to our church and has brought the children back up front to sing this song once again. It made me rejoice inside. I believe the Lord is trying to let us know we have got to get back to that child-like faith and let our light shine once again, returning back to our First Love (Jesus), like when we were zealous the first time we got saved and came into that personal relationship with Him.

Luis, thank you for your ministry it is refreshing and much needed.”

Thanks Vonda for sharing your heart. It is so easy to lose sight of the true purpose of our lives: To love God with all our hearts, to let the light of Jesus in us shine for all the world to see, and to glorify the Father which is in heaven. The pressing cares and concerns of this world can eventually be distracting and cause us to lose our balance. We must make every effort to keep the right priorities – God first, Family Second, Careers/Work Third, in order to live a meaningful and fruitful life.
