George Müller – Man of Faith

george_Müller

George Müller

In the video below, actor and preacher, Doug Whitley*, portrays George Müller (1805 -1898).

Before he received Jesus Christ who transformed his life, George Müller was a drunkard, a cheat and a most sinful man. God took him from the beer halls to the honored halls of men of great faith. Without a penny, he was able to build one of the largest and most successful childrens orphanages in Bristol, England.

During his life, he and his wife Susannah cared for over 10,024 orphans simply dependent upon God with childlike faith. – Luis Josephus

Kris Kristofferson Salvation Testimony

Country music supergroup, The Highwaymen, featuring Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson, and Johnny Cash.

Country music supergroup, The Highwaymen, featuring Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson, and Johnny Cash.

The salvation testimony of Kris Kristofferson – how he came to receive Jesus Christ, and the story behind the writing of the popular son, “Why me Lord?” So great to hear Kris and Willie Nelson playing together again – the last members still alive from the group, The Highwaymen. The other two members, Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings, have passed away. You can tell Kris wrote this song straight from his heart.

“Foreigner” Lead Singer Lou Gramm’s Testimony

In this video interview, Lou Gramm describes his Christian conversion. After years of international success as the lead singer for the popular rock group, “Foreigner,” he described his wild life of sex, drugs, and rock and roll spinning out of control. He reconnected with God in prayer. His hit song, “I want to know what love is” took on special meaning. The song reminded him that God loved him and sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for his redemption (John 3:16). Afterwards, he checked himself into a drug rehabilitation program where he prayed with a pastor to receive Jesus Christ. “I knew right away that this is what I wanted for a long time,” Gramm declared. He eventually left Foreigner and started his own band, “The Gramm Brothers.” He has been a Christian for 20 years now.

Actor Jim Caviezel Testimony

Watch this amazing testimony and words of Jim Caviezel, the actor who played Jesus in The Passion of the Christ film, which is the highest-grossing R-rated film in history just like the Holy Bible is the world’s best-selling book. Jim Caviezel is being interviewed by Dave Cooper.

The Passion InterviewThis interview is highly inspiring. He talks about how God’s Providence allowed him to suffer several very painful injuries and illnesses when filming which allowed him to participate in and portray Christ’s Passion in a deep and real way. He tells about the shocking fact that he was struck by lightning at one point in the production. He gives advice to all believers about the seriousness of living the Faith, not trying to “fit in” with our neo-pagan society, and the necessity, joy, and honor of suffering for Jesus Crucified for the salvation of souls. His testimony is amazing and real.

Ruth’s Vision of Jesus

Ruth Gottlieb

Ruth Gottlieb

Ruth Gottlieb is a Holocaust survivor who lost her parents in the Nazi Death Camps. In 1945, the Nazis evacuated Auschwitz and Ruth and 7,000 others were left behind. The Soviet army liberated them from the camp and Ruth eventually migrated to Israel. Her complete story was told to Jews For Jesus Ministry at: http://www.jewsforjesus.org/publications/issues/v20-n04/auschwitz-mengele-and-the-god-who-was-with-me

Although she was raised in the Jewish religion, she relates how one day she received Jesus as her Savior, Lord and Messiah:

Jesus walks on water“In the 1980’s at one point I lived in a hotel in Tiberius, Israel.  I could see the Sea of Galilee from my room. One day, I had a vision in which I saw Yeshua (Jesus) walking on the lake. It wasn’t a dream; I just saw him! So I told my daughter and I got more and more interested in Jesus and read many books about him.

When we moved back to France, we were still seeking and reading. Then one day, I was walking on the beach in Nice, and I met a Christian woman named Rosemund. We spoke about Jesus for quite a while. When we began to read the Bible together, it suddenly became very clear to me that Jesus was our Jewish Messiah. I talked with my daughter, and over time she too came to believe in him.

Jesus was Jewish. He taught from the Hebrew Scriptures. In his day the New Testament didn’t exist. He died for our sins voluntarily – no one murdered him, neither Romans nor Jews. Some people claim the New Testament is anti-Semitic. What an idea! It’s not in the least bit anti-Semitic. All you have to do is to read it and you will find a book that is thoroughly Jewish.

I’ve always wondered why God took me out of the concentration camp and restored my health. There are millions that died. I was not saved thanks to my own wisdom. I recognize that God saved me, but why me?. I don’t know the answer.

Since I have come to know Yeshua, I have a whole different way of thinking. I don’t need to go to be entertained or a lot of material things to be happy. I am just more content. Most of all, I have peace in my heart knowing that my sins are forgiven and that one day I will be with my Messiah in heaven.”

Regardless of your culture or religious background, believe that there is one true God, and Jesus Christ (Messiah) His only begotten Son. He died on the cross to redeem all men from their sins. He rose from the dead after three days and three nights and now sits in heaven at the right hand of God the Father interceding for His people, and awaiting the day of His return to the earth. Won’t you receive Him today as your Savior, Messiah and Lord of your life?

Pray this prayer and mean it with all your heart:

Dear heavenly Father, I thank you that You sent Jesus Christ to die on the cross for my sins. I repent of my sinful life; please forgive me. I invite Jesus to be my Savior and Lord of my life today. Help me to be the man (or woman) of God You want me to be. Amen.

If you just prayed this prayer, you have now been forgiven of all your sins. Start attending a Bible-believing church regularly where you can continue to grow in your Christian faith. If you need a Bible or other Christian literature, write us and we’ll send it to you absolutely free.

SCRIPTURE READING:

Matthew 14:22-33

Jesus Walks on the Water

Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd. After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. Later that night, he was there alone, and the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it.

Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. 26 When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear.

But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”

“Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”

“Come,” he said.

Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”

Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?”

And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”

Testimony of Rose Price – Nazi Concentration Camp Survivor

EDITOR’S NOTE: Rose Price went to be with the Lord in the spring of 2015. She was 87 years old. Rest in Peace, dear one.  – LJM

Rose Price spent five years in a Nazi concentration camp. She narrowly escaped death time after time at the hand of her German tormentors. Her entire family except for her sister and aunt, never came out of the death camps. She recalls, “I was hit on the head with a cross by a Roman Catholic priest simply because I was a Jew. He called me a ‘Christ killer”. For many years Rose learned to hate the “Jesus” of her persecutors and vowed never to have anything to do with Christianity. But when she met “the real Jesus” of the Bible – the one who truly loved her and died for her redemption, she willingly embraced Him as her Messiah.

Rose Price

Rose Price was born of Orthodox Jewish parents in Poland. As a small child she tasted deeply of the persecution that the Jewish people have endured down through the ages. Rose, along with the millions of Jews living in Europe personally entered into a dark time in human history known as the “Holocaust.” A time when a man named Hitler who, inspired by Satan, set his face to destroy the entire Jewish race.

During the horror of World War II, Rose spent five years in concentration camps, narrowly escaping death time after time from the hand of her tormentors. Her entire family except for her sister and aunt, never came out of the death camps. But out of the smoldering ruins of Europe, God brought forth smoldering remnants of human life, and one of these firebrands was Rose.

After immigrating to the United States, Rose met and married Charlie Price and settled in Philadelphia to raise a family of four children — two daughters and two sons. Rose was president of her neighborhood synagogue in spite of the fact that she did not believe in God. The horrors of the war had made her angry at God and she turned her unforgiving heart from Him completely. Yet she did want her children to know of their Jewish heritage and because of this became very involved in temple service.

One at a time, Rose’s daughter and husband met the Messiah Yeshua (Jesus), causing great anguish and distress to Rose. The story of how she, too, encountered her Messiah and surrendered her life to Him, lets one know that God is compassionate and merciful; His love is, indeed, for the lost sheep of the House of Israel. Don’t miss this vibrant testimony of how the Shepherd of Israel makes His claim on the life of one of those lost sheep, Rose Price — and how He lovingly brings her into fellowship with Him.

Rose has spoken at Churches, Synagogues, and both public and private schools in more than 30 of the United States of America. She was a featured speaker at “Berlin for Jesus” and in Nuremberg at the Anniversary of Hitler’s proclamation. She has been an honored guest in Canada, Poland, Jamaica, Honduras, Costa Rica, Guatemala and Puerto Rico.

Former Atheist Comes to Faith in Jesus

Lee Strobel, a former skeptic of Christianity and professing atheist relates how he changed his mind after diligently examining the historical evidence. As a legal editor for the prestigious newspaper, The Chicago Tribune, he ventured on a two-year quest to disprove the claims of Jesus utilizing his honed critical and investigative skills.

Instead of disproving Jesus, he came to the conclusion that Jesus the Messiah was indeed everything He claimed to be, and received Him as Savior and Lord. He says that his decision was due to careful analysis – not blind faith.

The Spirit of God also delivered him of alcoholism, anger and rage, and healed his marriage. His testimony is truly inspiring!
