Happy Feast of Trumpets

Tonight at sundown begins the Feast of Trumpets and ends at sundown tomorrow. It is one of the seven biblical feasts commanded of the Lord Yahovah to be observed each year.

“The LORD (Yahovah) said to Moses, Say to the Israelites: ‘On the first day of the seventh month you are to have a day of rest, a sacred assembly commemorated with trumpet blasts. Do no regular work, but present an offering made to the Lord by fire.’” – Leviticus 23:26-28.

We wish you and your family a blessed day of rest and worship unto the Lord!

God’s last trumpet blast

Shofar Trumpet made of a Ram's horn

Shofar Trumpet made of a Ram's horn

Ancient biblical tradition holds that the resurrection of the dead will occur on the Feast of Trumpets being celebrated by Jews and Christians all over the world today. As a result, many gravestones are often engraved with an image of a Shofar Trumpet made of a ram’s horn. Both of these great future events are connected to the Rapture of believers in Messiah Jesus.

The apostle Paul stated, “Behold, I tell you a mystery: When Jesus the Messiah returns, we shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed – in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet of God. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed (raptured)” – 1 Cor. 15:51-52.

The Feast of Trumpets

The Return of Jesus the Messiah

The Return of Jesus the Messiah

The Feast of Trumpets celebrated tonight at sundown by both Jews and Christians all over the world is symbolic of the literal second coming of Jesus the Messiah one day very soon. Could this be the day? Will we see Jesus coming in the clouds at any moment?

“For the Lord Jesus Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God…” – 1 Thess. 4:16.
