Is Jesus the only way to God?

The Antichrist will unite all world religions into one and cause all who follow him to be condemed forever.

Could the future Antichrist claim to be the Christian Jesus, the Jewish Messiah, the Islamic Mahdi, the Buddhist Maitreya and the Hindu Kalki all at the same time? Could this be what happens when all of the major religions merge into the one world religion prophesied in the book of Revelation? The Bible predicts that the Antichrist will unite all world religions into one and cause all who follow him to be condemned forever.

Years ago before I received Jesus as my Savior and Lord, I experimented with other religions – Hinduism, Buddhism, New Age Metaphysics, the Occult, and others. One of the common threads of all these pseudo-religions was the prevalent false teaching that “All paths lead to God. It doesn’t matter what you believe as long as you believe in god.” Of Course, nothing could be further from the truth. There is only ONE GOD and only ONE WAY to find Him – through Jesus Christ His Son. Only Jesus was the true Messiah, who as the Holy Lamb of God, sacrificed His life for the remission of our sins.

When I became a Christian and began to closely study the Bible. I realized that I had been deceived for many years by these counterfeit religious ideologies that had professed to show me the way to God. Even today, I often come across Muslims, for instance, who tell me, “You and I worship the same god. ‘Allah’ is the same god as your Christian God.” I quickly correct them, “No sir, he is not! The God of the Jews and Christians is not the same god you Muslims worship. The only true God, the Creator of heaven and earth is not Allah, but Yahovah. You are worshipping a false god, I’m sorry to say.” Muslims usually get offended when they hear this, but the truth is often hard to accept at first. Afterwards I always pray for their blinded eyes to be opened.

God’s way is narrow.

Yehovah God sent His only begotten Son into the world to be the sacrificial Pesach (Passover) Lamb that can take away our sins and reconcile us to the true and only God. You can follow some other (false) god if you wish, but you will deceived into following the broad road to destruction. There is only one true path to God – through His Son Jesus Christ the Messiah. Jesus declared, “…No man comes to the Father, but by Me.” (John 14:6). Perhaps you may think that is dogmatic and narrow-minded. I have to admit that it is, but it’s simply the truth. True Christianity is the only religious belief system that will bring you to God.

Man’s free will to choose right and wrong.

Now, you don’t have to follow the narrow way to salvation; you’re free to follow the broad road to destruction if you choose. God created man with a free will and allows you to reject the truth and believe anything you wish. If you persist in rejecting the right way He won’t stop you from making an eternal mistake. But He desires that none should perish but that all men should come to salvation.

“The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.” – 2 Peter 3:9

However, if you want salvation, you must come to God on His terms, not yours. You have to accept Jesus as the only true way to God or you’ll be lost. That’s just the way it is.

We cannot be saved by our own good works either.

Living a moral life, or performing good deeds is always important, but they still cannot save us. But even good deeds and a moral life can never produce the perfect righteousness that God requires for salvation. Only Jesus was sinless and perfect, and only by placing your trust in His imputed righteousness can save you. Don’t make the mistake of trying to earn your way into heaven, it’s simply impossible; that’s why God gave us the gift of Jesus.

“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us” -Titus 3:5.

It is by “grace through faith in Jesus that we are saved. It is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast” – Ephesians 2:8,9.

The minute you and I place our faith in Jesus’ substitionary death on the cross on our behalf, the way to God is open. It is the only way we can be saved.

Anyone can come.

Jesus invited everyone to come to salvation. He said, “If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.” – John 7:37. This is an all-inclusive invitation to all human beings. None are excluded except those who exclude themselves. Even the worst of sinner can be forgiven if they will repent. The Lord Jesus gives only one condition: “If any man thirst.” If you’re thirsting for salvation and the only true God, He asks you to simply come to Him. He is the only One that can satisfy you innermost desire.

Prayer of Salvation:

Pray this prayer right now with all sincerity….

“Lord Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God, the Messiah of both Jews and Gentiles. I believe that you sacrificed your life on the cross of Calvary to pay the penalty for my sins. I repent of my sins. Please forgive me. Today, I receive you as my Savior and Lord. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me to live my life for You, from this day forth, amen.”

If you prayed this prayer just now, please email us and let us know. We want to rejoice with you and send you some free resources to help you grow in your new Christian faith.

Comment from Jeff Brown: “Great word as always brother Luis! Our Heavenly Father has lovingly reached out His hand to each of us and through Christ has made a way that all may be saved! Only those who say “no” will be sent away to an eternity of their own choice and it’s just so terrible! No one would choose it if they knew the truth which is where we come in…I pray for fresh winds to blow into both of our missions, that the truth would be told from the highest mountains! In Jesus Mighty Name I ask it!”

Was Jesus a Rabbi?

Listen to this audio
message on Chirbit.com

Pastor Luis Yosefus

The simple answer to the question is, “Yes!”  Jesus was indeed a Jewish “teacher” of God’s Law and “Master” or spiritual leader over those who followed Him as His disciples. That’s what Rabbi means – a teacher or master.

A Rabbi in early first century Judaism and Christianity was very similar to what we call a “Pastor” or “Preacher” today.  The title “Reverend” that is commonly in use today was never permitted in the early church, since it was considered blasphemous to call any man Reverend (which means to be revered).  God alone is to be worshipped and revered.

Years ago, when I was first ordained as a minister of the gospel I was given the title “Reverend Luis.”  I used this religious title for a brief time not knowing any better. I must confess that being addressed as “Reverend” inflated my ego a little bit and I enjoyed the false sense that I was somehow better than others, on a higher spiritual level than other Christians. But as I grew older (and hopefully wiser), I saw the arrogance of such a preposterous title. I humbled myself before God and asked for His forgiveness. Afterwards I discontinued using the title Reverend or allowing anyone to address me in such a manner.  I prefer to be called Pastor or Shepherd or Teacher of God’s flock, under the authority of the Great Shepherd Himself – Jesus the Messiah.

In Jesus’ case, however, he was more than just a Rabbi or Teacher.  He was the only begotten Son of God, the long awaited Messiah of Israel, and Redeemer of all mankind.  To say that Jesus was simply a good teacher or godly prophet is to minimize His spiritual authority and ignore His divine attributes.

Today for the sake of brevity, we will focus on His role as a Jewish Rabbi who was anointed of God to correctly teach God’s people about the Kingdom of heaven.  As we seek to further understand the Jewish roots of our Christian faith, we must realize that Jesus was not only sent by God the Father to die for the remission of our sins, but also to dispel many false religious doctrines and traditions that had perverted the worship of Yahovah God.  Judaism, 2000 years ago (as well as today) had been contaminated by thousands of man-made traditions that had made the Word of God void.

In Mark 7:6-9, Jesus rebuked some of the Rabbis and religious leaders of His day for being hypocrites and only honoring God with their lips and not their hearts.

He answered and said to them, Well has Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. However, in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things you do. And he said to them, Full well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your own tradition.”

They had substituted outward acts such as washing of hands, cups, pots, and brazen vessels, for the more important attitudes of inner holiness. Outwardly, these religious leaders appeared righteous, but inwardly they had no real love for God. Sound familiar?

Many of the Jewish Rabbis and teachers of the Law were guilty of placing man-made traditions above or before God’s written Word.  The same problem exists within the Christian churches today. Man-made or denominational doctrines have also superseded the Word of God. Jesus the Rabbi would again rebuke many of the religious shephereds (Christian pastors and preachers) today for being hypocrites and following the traditions of men instead of Gods Word.

Jesus indeed was the greatest Rabbi that has ever lived!  If we are to practice an authentic form of Christianity, Jesus the Messiah, our Savior and Lord of our lives, must have the final word over everything that we accept as truth, and practice.

If you’re not sure if your church or denomination is teaching the absolute truth according to the Old and New Testament Bible, go to Rabbi Jesus. Pray and ask Him to show you the way.  Rabbi Jesus declare in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth and the life; no one can come to God the Father except through Me.” AMEN.

Religious Syncretism

Questions & Answers

Questions & Answers

The following article was reprinted from www.GotQuestions.org

I believe it contains some very useful information that will expose new light on today’s current trend among the Protestant churches to introduce a “mixture” of foreign religious philosophies or pagan practices with Christianity.

Some examples of Syncretism might include “Christian Yoga”, “Christian Psychology”, “The Ecumenical Movement” (the false teaching that all religions lead to God), and the general incorporation of New Age occult teachings and practices into the church.

As the article states, “Religious Syncretism is not compatible with true Christianity… syncretism relies on the whim of man, not the standard of Scripture.”

Beware of so many Christian churches today that have fallen away from the true Christian faith by following the doctrines of men and demons. “Now the [Holy} Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils” – 1 Timothy 4:1.

Please pray for spiritual discernment to know truth vs. error, and be courageous enough to “come out” from among them and be separate, says the LORD (2 Corinthians 2:17).

We speak the truth in love,

Question: “What is religious syncretism?”

Answer: Syncretism, as defined by the American Heritage Dictionary, is “the reconciliation or fusion of differing systems of belief.” This is most evident in the areas of philosophy and religion, and usually results in a new teaching or belief system. Obviously, this cannot be reconciled to biblical Christianity.

Religious syncretism often takes place when foreign beliefs are introduced to an indigenous belief system and the teachings are blended. The new, heterogeneous religion then takes a shape of its own. This has been seen most clearly in Roman Catholic missionary history. Take, for example, the Roman Catholic Church’s proselytizing of animistic South America. Threatened with the fear of death, natives were baptized into the church by the tens of thousands without any preaching of the Gospel whatsoever. Former temples were razed, with Catholic shrines and chapels built on the same spot. Natives were allowed to substitute praying to saints instead of gods of water, earth and air, and replaced their former idols with new images of the Roman Catholic Church. Yet, the animistic religion the natives had formerly practiced was never fully replaced—it was adapted into Catholic teachings, and this new belief system was allowed to flourish.

More recently, religious syncretism can be seen in such religious systems as the New Age, Hinduism, Unitarianism, and Christian Science. These religions are a blending of multiple different belief systems, and are continually evolving as the philosophies of mankind rise and fall in popularity.

Therein lies the problem, for syncretism relies on the whim of man, not the standard of Scripture. The Bible makes it very clear what true religion is. Think on just a few things stated in Scripture: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind” (Deuteronomy 6:5; Matthew 22:37); “Jesus replied, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me'” (John 14:6); “Jesus did many other miraculous signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name” (John 20:31-32); and “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).

Religious syncretism is simply not compatible with true Christianity. In fact, any modification to biblical law and principle for the sake of a “better” religion is heresy (Revelation 22:18-19).

The Only Way to God

Only_way_to_God“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to [God] the Father except through me.” – John 14:6

Jesus clearly taught that without the new birth there is no salvation. You’re religion can’t save you. Your church can’t save you. Your belief system can’t save you. Unless a person is born again, Jesus said, no one can enter the kingdom of God.

“Jesus answered and said to him [Nicodemus], ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. “ – John 3:3.

Nicodemus was a devout religious man. He was a ruling member of the Jewish Sanhedrin and teacher in his church. He kept most of the Bible commandments and practiced a holy life. Yet when he came to Jesus, He was told by our Lord that He was lost! In his present spiritual condition he would never enter God’s kingdom (John 3:1-3). Why was Jesus so hard on him? Because Jesus discerned that he was not “born again”. He was a good man and deeply religious, but he had never experienced the new birth.

“Jesus answered, “I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.” – John 3:5

What does it mean to be born again?

Without the new birth there is no spiritual life. You may be physically alive, but you are still spiritually dead in your trespasses and sins.

“And you has He [Jesus] quickened [made spiritually alive], who were dead in trespasses and sins…” – Ephesians 2:1.

“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He [God} that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you.” – Romans 8:11

Through the new birth, God gives spiritual life to our physical, mortal bodies by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Nicodemus misunderstood Jesus; he thought that Jesus was asking him to enter his mother’s womb and be born all over again. Jesus corrected him and essentially said, “That’s not what I’m talking about, Nicodemus. I’m talking about a spiritual rebirth. That which is born of the flesh is of the flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Being born again is not experiencing a second biological birth – but a spiritual birth from above, which you don’t have. You may be a very religious Jew, but you’re never going to enter God’s kingdom until you are spiritually born again.”

How often I have met people in the Christian church with the same kind of spiritual issues as Nicodemus. They say they believe in Jesus, go to church, read the Bible, keep the commandments, but yet they are just as lost as Nicodemus was. Why? Because they are following a religion instead of following the Savior.

The only way to be sure that you are saved from your sins, have eternal life with God and truly born again, is to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and commit your life to Him as Savior and Lord. He is the only way to God and the only One that that can give you new spiritual life.

If you want to be sure you are truly born again from above, sincerely pray this prayer out loud to God the Father:

“Dear Heavenly Father, I believe in Jesus Christ the Messiah as Your only begotten Son that you sent to die on the cross for my sins. I put my trust in Him only as the only way to God and Savior of my life. I repent of my sins and ask You to forgive me. Cleanse me clean of all the wrong things I have ever done with the precious blood of Jesus. Fill me with the Holy Spirit and help me to live in newness of life from this day forth, amen.”

If you just prayed this prayer and accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord, you are now born again. Write us and let us know of your decision to follow Jesus and let us rejoice with you.
