Nature Testifies of God’s Love

When you look at Nature it greatly testifies of God’s love. Our Heavenly Father is the source of all life, wisdom, beauty and happiness. Look at the wonderful creation He has made. Think of His unfailing provision for, not only of man, but of all living creatures. The sunshine and the rain, that gladden and refresh the earth, the hills and seas and plains, all speak to us of the Creator’s love. It is God who infinitively supplies every need. In the inspiring words of the psalmist–

“The eyes of all wait upon You;
And You give them their food in due season.
You open Your hand,
And satisfy the desire of every living thing.”

– Psalm 145:15, 16.

God made man perfectly holy and happy; and the fair earth, as it came from the Creator’s hand, bore no blight of decay or shadow of cursing. It was the transgression of God’s divine law–the law of love—that has brought woe and death. Yet even amid the suffering that results from man’s transgression, God’s love is still revealed. God’s desire is to uplift man from the ruin and degradation that his sin has wrought. Man’s ruin of this world is not all sorrow and misery. In nature itself are messages of hope and comfort. There are flowers upon the thistles, and roses among the thorns. “God is love” is written upon every opening bud, upon every blade of springing grass. The lovely birds making the air lively with their happy songs, the perfuming air of fragrant flowers, the lofty trees of the forest with their rich foliage of living green — all testify to the tender, fatherly care of our God and to His desire to make His children happy.

Who’s responsible for Messiah’s death?

Jesus - The Sacrificial Lamb of God

Jesus – The Sacrificial Lamb of God

I have to admit I get a little bit annoyed when I hear people argue about who is responsible for the death of  Jesus the Messiah. Some blame Pontius Pilate and the Roman government – who executed Him by Crucifixion. Others, blame it on the Jewish religious leaders who accused Jesus (falsely, I may add). People can argue all they wish; the fact remains that if I hadn’t been a sinner, and if you hadn’t been a sinner, nobody could have put the Son of God to death. It was our sins that put the Messiah to death!

Jesus delared that He was laying down His life voluntarily:

The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life–only to take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.” – John 10:17-18

The truth of the matter is, neither the Roman government, nor the Jewish religious leaders really had any power to take the Messiah’s life unless He was willing to be put to death. “No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord.”  He allowed them to do it because it was His mission at His first advent to die for our sins. At His second coming in the future, Jesus is going to rule and reign over the entire earth.

The innocent dies for the guilty.

The prophets long ago predicted that the Messiah would be the sin-bearer for His people:

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on Him (Jesus The Messiah) the iniquity of us all.” – Isaiah 53:6

When John the Baptist saw Jesus coming, he declared to all the people, “…Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” – John 1:29

Jesus Christ the Messiah was the Holy Lamb of God who was sacrificed in our place so that we would not have to pay the penalty for our sins. Yahovah God laid the iniquity of us all upon Him. The innocent had to die for the guilty. God loved us so much that He sent His only begotten Son to take our place on the cross. Yahovah God is a God of love and mercy, but He is also a God of justice. He could not allow our sins and iniquities to go unpunished. So He sent Jesus to suffer on our behalf.

“Messiah also once (and for all) suffered for our sins, the just (Jesus) for the unjust (that’s us)…” – 1 Peter 3:18.

He was the fulfillment of the Old Testament Passover Offering.

Many of the Old Testament offerings were simply types and shadows of what the Messiah would ultimately accomplish  on the cross. The innocent Passover Lamb which was sacrificed each year under the Old Testament sacrificial ordinances pointed to the sacrifice Jesus would make with His own body and blood in the New Testament.

Under the Old Covenant, the sinner had to bring a sacrificial animal to take his place. As the sinner put his hand on the animal to be slain he was designating this little animal was to be his substitute. The man was admitting that he deserved to die for his sins, but the little animal was instead taking his penalty. The animal would die a substitutionary death in the place of the offerer, and God’s justice would be satisfied.

That’s what Jesus did for us.

When you receive Jesus as your Saviour, you are admitting to God that you are a sinner, and that you can’t save yourself. You want to turn from your sins, make Jesus Lord of your life, and allow the Holy Spirit to transform you into the righteous man or woman that God created you to be.

Ask God’s forgiveness and receive Jesus as your Savior.

If you’ve never asked Jesus Christ to be your Savior and Lord, won’t you pray and ask Him today?

God’s Way Is Narrow

The Antichrist will unite all world religions into one and cause all who follow him to be condemed forever.

The Antichrist will unite all world religions into one and cause all who follow him to be condemed forever.

– By Pastor Luis Yosefus.

Years ago before I received Jesus as my Savior and Lord I experimented with other religions – Hinduism, Buddhism, New Age, Metaphysics and the like. One of the common threads of these false religions was the teaching that “All paths lead to God. It doesn’t matter what you believe as long as you believe in god.” Not true.

When I became a Christian and began to study the Bible, I realized that I had been deceived for many years by these counterfeit religions that had claimed to show me the way to God. Even today, I often come across Muslims, for instance, who tell me, “You and I worship the same god. Allah is the same god as your Christian God.” I quickly correct them, “No He is not! The God of the Jews and Christians is not the same god you worship. The true God, King of the universe is not Allah, but Yahovah. You are worshipping a false god, I’m sorry to say.” Muslims usually get offended when they hear this, but as they say, the truth always hurts. However I always pray for the deceived to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Jesus is the only way.

Yahovah God sent His only begotten Son into the world to be the only sacrificial Lamb that can take away our sins and reconcile us to the true and living God.

You can follow some other false god if you wish (there is only one true God), and there is only one exclusive way to God – through His Son Jesus Christ, the Messiah.

Jesus declared, “…No man comes to [God] the Father, but by Me.” (John 14:6). Perhaps you may think that is dogmatic, narrow and even politically incorrect. I have to admit that it is; but it’s the truth. Jesus is the only path that will bring you to the true God. Now, you don’t have to follow this path. You’re free to believe anything you want and follow any false religion you like. God won’t stop you; that is where your free will comes in. But if you want to follow the only true way to God, you have to get on the right path or you’ll be lost. That’s just the way it is. Yahovah God has decreed that there is only one right way – through Jesus Christ, the Messiah, His only begotten Son.

We cannot be saved by our own good works either.

Performing good deeds and keeping the laws of God are always important, but they alone cannot save us. They can never produce the absolute perfect righteousness that God requires. Only Jesus was perfect. “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us” -Titus 3:5. It is by “grace through faith in Jesus that we are saved. It is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast” – Ephesians 2:8,9. The minute you and I come to faith in Jesus’ substitionary death on our behalf, the way to God is open. It is the only way we can be saved.

Anyone can come.

Regardless of your race or previous religious beliefs, Jesus invited everyone to come to salvation. He said, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.” – John 7:37. This is an all-inclusive invitation to all human beings. None are excluded except those who exclude themselves. The Lord Jesus gives only one condition, “If anyone thirsts and comes to me.” If you’re thirsting for the truth and the true God, He asks you to simply come to Him. He is the only One that can satisfy you.

Prayer of Salvation:

Pray this prayer right now with all sincerity….

“Lord Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God, the Messiah. I believe that you sacrificed your life on the cross of Calvary to pay the penalty for my sins. I repent of my sins; please forgive me. Today, I receive you as my Savior and Lord. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me to live my life for You, from this day forth, amen.”

If you sincerely prayed this prayer just now, please let us know. We want to rejoice with you and send you some free resources to help you grow in your new Christian faith. Simply email us and provide your postal address where we can mail you the packet.
