Happy Pentecost

Feast of PentecostTonight, May 26th at sundown begins the Feast of Pentecost. On this day almost 2,000 years ago, the first Christians gathered together in Jerusalem for a ten day prayer meeting. The apostles and disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in tongues and glorify God in various languages. 3,000 new believers were saved from their sins and water baptized on this day. We encourage you to read the entire 2nd chapter of the Book of Acts tonight and ask the Holy Spirit to fill you afresh with His power. In Jesus name, amen.

“When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.” – Acts 2:1-4

From Pastor Luis – 4-30-11

Shabbat Shalom!*

“This is the day that the LORD has made; I will rejoice and be glad in it!” – Psalm 118:24

I hope everyone is enjoying a restful Sabbath day and spending quality time with Jesus in Bible study, prayer, communion and fellowship with others in the Body of Messiah.

I just returned from traveling for a few days and feel refreshed from a good nights rest for a change (since I don’t sleep too well when I away from my own bed). Be it ever so humble, there is no place like your own home, as they say.

Please look forward to some new teachings I will be posting on the significance of “The Power of Pentecost” as part of my book, “The Seven Biblical Feasts.” In the meantime, you can prepare for my upcoming Bible studies on the Feast of Pentecost by reading Acts chapters 1 and 2, as well as Leviticus 23:15-22.

From Pastor Luis YosefusPlease continue to pray for us and ask Jesus to give us grace, strength and anointing, so that we can be faithful in teaching and proclaiming His message of truth, maturity, balance and discipleship to the Body of Christ. And as you pray, please also ask our Heavenly Father if He would have you join with us at Real Jesus Ministries through your financial giving. Whether you can help support Real Jesus Ministries with a one-time gift, or you are feeling led to become one of Real Jesus Ministries’ treasured monthly partners, donations of any size will truly help us bear the financial needs of our ministry together.

You may send your donation securely here. If you would prefer to mail your donation, Real Jesus Ministries’ mailing address is at the bottom of this message.

Thank you so much for considering my request. I am genuinely grateful for your prayers, love and support.

May the LORD richly bless you and keep you during this Sabbath day and always.

Sincerely in Messiah,

Pastor Luis Yosefus

* Shabbat shalom is a Hebrew greeting people say to each other on the Sabbath which begins on Friday at sundown and ends at sundown on Saturday. We pray that the shalom (peace, wholeness) of the Lord will be with you. At the end of the sabbath, people say “Shavua Tov” – have a good week.
