The Feast of Tabernacles 2014

Celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) this year on October 10-15, 2014 wherever you live, or best of all, in Israel.

The Feast of Tabernacles has prophetic significance as it reminds us of the future time when Jesus our Savior, Lord, and Messiah will return and establish His physical kingdom reign over all the earth. The seat of His throne will be in Jerusalem and He will command all people on the earth each year to come to Israel and celebrate the Feast of Sukkot, worship King Jesus and celebrate His goodness and majesty.

“The LORD (Yehovah) will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one Yehovah, and his name the only name…Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, and to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles.” – Zechariah 14:9-16

During His first coming, Jesus celebrated the Feast of Tabernacles. The Book of John tells us that on the last day of this yearly feast, Jesus stood in the temple courts and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” -John 7:37-38.

A festival of Joy

The Feast of Tabernacles was intended to be a festival of joy celebrating the ingathering of the summer harvest and God’s faithful provision. For the past thirty-five years, thousands of believers in Jesus the Messiah from all over the world have come up to Jerusalem each fall to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles, sponsored by the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (http://feast.icej.org/about). “They come with much expectancy to take part in a dynamic worship experience, knowing the One we worship will soon be sitting on His throne in this great city. Indeed, celebrating Sukkot now gives us a foretaste of the joy of the age to come.”

Below is a short video tour of Israel and some of the sites you can see while celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles. Please continue to support the nation of Israel, pray for the Jewish people, and the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6).

Immanuel – God with us

The Prophet Isaiah

Messianic Prophecies in the Book of Isaiah fulfilled by Jesus.

Recognize that Jesus is God’s sign to us. He was born of a virgin in Bethlehem Judah, of the royal lineage of King David. He is Immanuel, God with us. “So the Lord himself will give you this sign: A virgin will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and she will name him Immanuel [God Is With Us].” – Isaiah 7:14

In this series, we are taking a look at the Messianic prophecies in the Book of Isaiah that were fulfilled by Jesus of Nazareth who came to save, redeem, and reconcile both Jews and Gentiles to God.

Letters – August 2011

One of our readers wrote us of a vision he received (below) regarding Israel. If anyone would like to comment on this, or has any other revelation from the Holy Spirit, please feel free to EMAIL US

– Luis Josephus

“I recently had a vision of an impression mold from an almond.  I don’t know exactly what it means yet.  However, I do know that Yahweh is showing me that on Rosh Hashana (Feast of Trumpets) 2012, something awesome will happen in Israel.  God has been impressing upon me that the natural things always proceed the spiritual thing.  Israel will find Oil (that will be a game changer) not only in the region, but the world. And shortly afterwards the Oil of the Holy will be poured upon the House of Israel.  I welcome any comment on the impression of the almond.” – Freeman Fobbs

COMMENT from Cynthia Spinner: “Question: I had read a website “by Zion Oil & Gas Founder John Brown”, http://www.oilinisrael.net/resources/oil-of-israel”

COMMENT from Luis Josephus: “I recommend that you watch the video below, “An Act of Faith – Searching for Oil in Israel.” Also continue to support the nation of Israel in your prayers.”

COMMENT from Umari: “The drilling of oil in Israel will open a big door for Israel in the world stage.”

COMMENT from M.V. Casarini: “You always bring up so interesting topics, Pastor!”

Trusting God’s Direction

From Pastor Luis Yosefus Here is a prophetic word from the LORD for you today:

“Do not fear My voice, nor My direction for your life, even if it causes you to take a turn you do not understand. I am bringing you out of your comfort zone and disrupting your man-made plans. Be obedient to My voice; remember that I am completely trustworthy and desire only what is best for you. Follow Abraham’s example; he believed God and obeyed My voice to leave his family and country, to give up all that was dear to him, and to travel to an unknown land. As a result of his obedience I greatly blessed him, and he was called ‘a friend of God.’ Believe My promises to you today; I am able to bring them to pass, even though, right now, you might not see how I will do it.”

COMMENT FROM JOY: “Needed this word today. Thank you for sharing.”

The Vision of the Almond Tree Branch

The LORD gave me a prophetic word for the body of Christ and I have been praying over it for a few days now. I have had several confirmations that it is a true word from God, so I am now ready to share it with you. What is about to transpire will be centered around the State of Israel, but it will have a rippling effect upon many other nations of the world, including the USA.

Jeremiah’s vision of The Almond Tree Branch

We must always remember that God’s Word, the Holy Scriptures are a dynamic and creative force that always accomplishes His purposes when He speaks it. In the Book of Genesis we see an example of this:

And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.” “And God said, ‘Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.’ And it was so.” – Genesis 1:3,9.

God spoke the word, “Let there be light,” and light came into existence. God spoke the word, “Let the waters covering the earth be gathered into one place,” and it became so.

Just before the LORD God was about to do something new in Israel, He gave Jeremiah two visions. The first vision was of the Almond Tree Branch:

Almond Tree In Bloom

Almond Tree In Bloom

As I studied these verses, the Holy Spirit let me know that God is about to do something very extraordinary on the world scene. As in the example of the Almond Tree, He wants His people to be watchful and anticipating.

Out of all the trees in the land of Israel, the almond tree blossoms the earliest, watching diligently for the changing of the seasons to be the first to bloom. Likewise, Jehovah God is soon bringing extraordinary events to pass, and they will happen very quickly. He wants His people to follow the anticipation of the almond tree and be alert, watching carefully for what God is about to do. He wants us to be ready to move swiftly in whatever direction the Holy Spirit leads us to go, and be prepared to pray and act accordingly.

What God is about to do will catch the worldly by surprise, and they will become stupefied and confused, like sheep without a shepherd. But those who have been watching, praying, and expecting, will be ready to embrace the will of God, and move into a new season of fruitfulness and service to the LORD.

Be encouraged today. God is doing a new and marvelous thing in our midst. He is about to hasten His word and act swiftly on behalf of God’s people and the nation of Israel.

We welcome your comments and any additional revelation that the Holy Spirit might give to you as well.
